Our Company - Was founded May 8, 2011 by David and Amy McCormick. Our office is located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania and serves 12 counties throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania and neighboring communities.

Our Mission - To provide relief for distressed individuals in need of durable medical equipment and mobility assistance devices by collecting, refurbishing, and redistributing donated materials at no cost to the recipients. In addition, we will lessen the environmental impact of unnecessary waste by recycling unserviceable donated equipment.

Our Purpose - Recycled Mobility Products, Inc., is organized exclusively for charitable purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or any corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

What Makes Us Different - In contrast to any other durable medical equipment vendor in our service area, we operate solely to benefit the distressed residents of Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding area by providing our services at no cost. Recycled Mobility Products, Inc., headquartered in Beaver County, PA, provides an unmatched alternative means for people to donate or acquire durable medical equipment and home health supplies through our web based service. Individuals can use our web site to track our progress, browse inventory, and donate or request items.

Qualifying Requirements - Qualification to receive free items is based solely on HUD income guidelines as set forth in the FY 2012 Income Limits Summary (Low income range) for the Pittsburgh, PA, Metro Area. Requests for equipment are filled in the order in which they are received. The qualifying guidelines are as follows.

2012 Annual Household Income Limits to receive FREE equipment:

1Person  2 Person  3 Person  4 Person  5 Person  6 Person  7 Person  8 Person
 $37,350  $42,600    $47,950   $53,300 x $57,550    $61,800    $66,050    $70,350

Equipment - Equipment donations are welcomed and collected regardless of age or condition because many parts are required in the refurbishing process. Greatly needed items include, rollators, wheelchairs, scooters, wheelchair lifts, stair glides, wheelchair ramps, shower grab bars, and bedside tables.

Operations - We are an all volunteer organization. Our daily operations rely on individuals, businesses, and other organizations to make not only monetary donations, but donations of time, services, and equipment as well. Our most costly and most needed repair parts are batteries used for power wheelchairs, power scooters and stair glides. On average, a pair of batteries costs $150.00 and must be purchased in pairs. We are continuously seeking financial assistance for the purchase of these and many other needed items. Your financial support is greatly appreciated.
